gday amc.

i though posting in this section might be a better option, mods move if need be.

edit: this is a kf verada by the way.

but however, i added a led strip into my boot tonight and it didnt end up working, which i thought was my wrong wiring.

after opening the car doors and turning the car on, all the other interior lights, clock and stereo did not turn on or work what so ever.

checked the fuses, only one blown, rest are fine. used a multi meter to check them all.

NOW, this part has the twist to it i turned the car on and put it into reverse and closed the door, the roof light flickered a few times and went off, and the foot well lights turned on for 2 seconds then went off. when the car gets locked the security light does not come on either like usual.

any ideas of what is wrong? i know its quite long and vague but im quite upset to be totally honest.

also if anyone knows how much mitsu MIGHT charge for a new computer or diagnosis that would be good to know also.

thanks

Did you replace said blown fuse, and have you checked them since the flickering?

replaced the blown fuses, plus any that were tested and "danced"

havent checked them since flickering. should i check all of them or any in particular?

also, the headunit does have an illumination wire, but it is not connected. so does this mean that the lights, h/u and security light all run off the same sort of circuit?

did u replace the fuse under the dash or in the engine bay?

Engine bay should be the top one in a yellow holder

fixed the issue.

the yellow fuse holder was out slightly, which im feeling quite stupid about, and two of the wires for the a light were touching which might have been a further safety feature to stop all the lights working.
