quick noob question?

if i drop the tailshaft out can the car be driven off some ramps in FWD??

I asked this same question on OzVR4 forums the other day. Some people say you pretty much couldn't do anything.. my personal feeling is you might manage to drive the car around on a flat surface due to the VCU but you have pretty much no hope of getting up a ramp.

But I didn't end up trying.

In short, you may be able to creep along on flat ground but that is about it, with no tail shaft you should not run the car as the transfer case fluid will drian from the case and will destroy it at the same time

ok thanks guys. im just trying to work out the best and safest way to remove the transfer case so i can then remove the motor and box from the top...
