so I took the bubbling tint off my back window and it has left like a glue like residue, I tried turps and thinners but it wont remove it. any ideas?

I've heard (but never tried it) that sugar soap should work. Never seen it done, just "heard" it works.

use soapy water

thats whats used to help it stick when put on..

Wax and grease remover, metho, tee tree oil or eucalyptus oil.

Give white spirit a go. I find it better with glue than metho

We recently did my mates back window. Found some chemicals do stuff all. The best chemical out is Tardis. We used that are the car auctions where I used to work. But we recently did my mates back window with the new Barbeque Grease wipes. The ones on TV. A bit of elbow grease and those wipes are amazing and wont damage your demisters either. Pretty sure they are Selleys brand. And once done just windex the window clean.

i did same job the other day , i had some Carby and Throttle Body cleaner spray lying around so i used that , worked well.
