This is the first step to see if the lights would work in the cluster.

Changes appear a bit slow ,but that was my daughter just being careful,works well when you do it with more commitment and speed.

Now the tricky bit and get some micro switches and mount them to to lower gear lever...fun times ahead.

My mate's been trying to convince me to hook up the gear display on my 5sp cluster for ages... Let me know how you go, are you using microswitches or reed switches?

Dont know yet ,maybe these Black 5A Roller Microswitch Sensor Robotics Switch (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/320565578765?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649)

to allow the lever to "roll "on contact with switch
