hey everyone i havnt been on here for years but i still have my magna and need some help lol.

checked my fuse box in the engine bay coz i was tryin to figure out why my horn doesnt work, but theres no fuse in there for the horn and never was, anyway my main cooling fan fuse is melted to shit and we literally had to drill it to get it all out.
then we noticed the fan has completely come off of the shroud, dunno how or when but i need to know the best and/or cheapest place in perth or off the net to get a new one.

i havnt taken it off yet to see if i need a whole new one or just shroud and/or fan.

any help with that or my lack of horn, let me know cheers guys

its a 98 tf i forgot to mention lol

hi mate, wreckers are usually a safe bet for a cheap relacement. picaparts are usually the best because you can se what condition they are in before you remove them. if you cant find one where you are, i have one you can have for cheap (postage plus a little).

Hey if your horn is still not working, there is a fuse (it's undocumented) well at least my 01 Diamante LS has it.
But its on the inside, right outside of the interior fuse box. There's like 4 fuses there. I honestly thought they were extra's and pulled 2 cause I blew my lights. One of them turned out to be the horn. And the other, to my belief, was the transmission computer, cause it felt like it was stuck in learning mode.

I was down the coast yesterday and today in our TH, and whenever we were stuck at lights the temp gauge would go up significantly, I found out that fan wasnt turning on, I checked the fuse (I think it was the right one) and it was fine, so I wired the fan to the high beams (removed both high beam globes) so I could flick them on to cool the engine, was effective in a pinch :D

Now Im home and Im guessing I need to replace a thermistor or something? Is that right or is there something else I should check?

Thanks

pretzil - how did you resolve problem of fans not coming on? I've got the same problem on TR atm? am considering wiring them directly to battery with relay switch to ignition to turn them on when car runs

That sounds like a good idea, I just wired in a switch and relay so i could flick it on when it gets hot.
