Just noticed the other day when I changed the coolant in my KH 3.5 that the 2nd (drivers side) radiator fan never seems to actually come on with my car unless the A/C is turned on. The temperature gauge never goes above half way but the passenger side fan will come on when idling/at traffic lights. Only when the A/C is on do both the fans come on. Is there something wrong? I'm confused...

The second fan is the airconditioner condenser cooling fan, and as you say will only come on when the aircon is on.....so it's normal.
