My power mirrors are so slow its not funny. The motors do work and they do move, just slow.

Anything I can do to speed them up a bit? Kind of didn't realise until the other day someone drove my car and I moved the mirrors back into the right spot again. Otherwise, they haven't been moved in years.

Bump for interest!

Mine are perfect. They don't feel fast, they don't feel slow.

My windows on the other hand, are slow as ****.

Mine were too. Got that painfully slow I pulled the door trim off and cleaned the tracks. Now its like they have turbos with NOS!

Really? Easy? Got a guide? I would bloody love to do this! Plus my drivers window has a nasty squeal on the way down but not up, I've got lithium grease but no idea how to remove the doors safely.

I'll take some photos for you tomorrow when its light! But there is like 3 screws in your door trim that are really easy to remove, then the whole panel just unclips (takes a bit of force) and slides up. With the window, put it down and you'll see the main track it runs along (you really cannot miss it). There is like all this red grease over it, and usually a huge amount of dirt; I cleaned mine with WD40. They take about 4-5 seconds to go from all the way down, to closed :) Don't make that strained sound any more either.

Is there some way to remove the mirror glass or can it be done with the mirror intact? cheers.

The mirror glass will pop out, get your finger behind the glass and pull till it pops off, then line the clips up and push to clip back in.

With the window rails, get some silicon in a can and spray that on the rails, last longer than WD40.

I was told to use lithium grease, which I got from Bunnings. White lithium grease or something.
