ok so ive searched with no answers.\
replaced radiator and hooked up alll fans etc, used old fans on new radiator. double checked all my work. the passenger cooling fan will not kick in when aircon is turned on (both should run). the car does not get hot at all and the fan would only come on when idleing for more than a few mins before i replaced the radiator. i have checked alll my connections (the 3 plugs that run the fans), have tested fan, it is ok, have checked fuse, it is ok. i have swapped solienoids around and they are fine all will activate the aircon fan. there is no power reaching the plug to main fan. unplugged main coolant sensor and got a check light so it is ok, plus still get mivec changeover and this sensor lets the ecu know its at operating temp to do that. cant think why it would not be getting power. any ideas at all, system was working perfectly prior to me replacing radiator and swapping fans over.

According to the 3rd gen wiring diagrams, only one fan should come on if A/C is selected (presuming the engine is below fan switch-on temp). I apologise for not understanding your post fully - you say 'mivec'....does this mean your 3rd gen is not standard and has the fan wiring been modified?

oh ok, so maybe im chasing an imaginary problem lol! i thought it always came on. ill see if i can get the temp to kick in with idleing. ah as for mivec i have the JDM 30M model Diamante which came with the DOHC Mivec 3L, it wont change cam profiles unless temp is up to a certain level. cheers mate, ill see it it will kick in tonight.
