Just wondering if it is possible to get a Diamante drivers side power window switch/s and wire the central locking button up too, so all the doors will lock/unlock?

Thanks

why,is your remote stuffed ??

if it isnt and the issue is you want to lock/unlock when you are in the car, they do.

you can use your remote once you are in the car,but not with the key in the ignition,

otherwise, when you are in the car, push the lock lever forward and it will lock all the doors, similar,if you have only unlocked the drivers door with the remote and you are in the car , pull the lock latch twice and it will unlock them.

Short answer, yes it is possible.

It is an incredible amount of stuffing around though with wiring, as to get it all working correctly, you will need the correct plug, the wiring diagram for it (you would be able to use the USA as a guide - but they don't get the folding mirrors) and rewire the mirror switch into the drivers door. Given that it is an effort to get 1 extra wire through that tube, several will be crap.

You will also need to convert to folding mirrors if you want that switch to work.

So, short answer again: yes it is possible. But too much work.

Well thanks for the input guys!

Nah, my remote isn't stuffed. Its just on the Diamante there is a lock/unlock rocker switch where the power window switches are; just think it looks and works a bit better than pushing the lever up near the handle.

Sounds like it might be easier to just try and buy a Diamante lol

I'm planning on doing this with my car. But I plan to use the door loom from a F36, and comparing the wiring to my stock door loom and making changes at the plug where neccessary.
