You can all beat me with the stick if you'd like but I can't find any decent web pages with parts for the car. Id like to shop wheels, coilovers and other goodies here and there... Any of these you guys know will ship to the states if not here in the states themselves? I've found a couple cheesy bodykit websites but nothing hardcore like the 3SX.com I'm used to.

If your referring to the united states then, heh good luck I've been looking since I've got the car.
You can look at RPW for some stuff, they supposedly will ship internationally. (mostly engine stuff though)
Possibly fastmagna.com as well, they have links to websites there.
Just not too sure if your talking about the US or not.:P

Basically most of the items for the car come from Japan and Australia. For suspension you will be looking at Australia as Japanese cars have a totally different front suspension setup.

But probably you best bet, is getting a member here to ship it too you. It's a bit of a stuff around, but it works.

I have the same issue trying to get small trim parts from the states to here. People won't ship it!

Welcome to our world! :( Unfortunately there just aren't many aftermarket parts available for the magna and esp. not for the verada's. There is a bit of parts available but you're not spoilt for choice nor are you going to find a site other than this or ModifiedMagna that knows much about these cars.

I would stay well clear of RPW - they have actually been banned from these forums because they are known to be very dodgy. Do a quick search and you'll find plenty of people who've been jibbed and/or mislead about their products.

What sort of goodies were you after? We might be able to help you source them.

We used to have a sponsor called Phillcom Rally who sold K-Sport coilovers for around AUD$1600 plus delivery. As far as I know he doesn't sell them anymore but he does lurk around other forums so you mught able to contact him through those forums and see if he has any left. Otherwise I beleive Mal from Mitsfix has access to the K-Sport or Koni coilovers. Member Foozrcool (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/member.php?u=7815) recently purchased coilovers for his 380 (aka AUS version Galant), so maybe the supplier he used may have some parts for your diamante - just make sure you mention your car is a Magna/Verada as I don't think many here know what a Diamante is.

As for rims - well thankfully these can be fairly easy to source. The magna/verada has the very common 5x114.3 PCD. This is the same for alot of cars so you might be able to buy other car's rims if the offset is right. From memory the Magna/Verada offset is around +32 to +38. A quick search will confirm this. Here in AUS we can actually fit "Ford Falcon" wheels from 2002+ onwards. Check out www.tempetyres.com.au and see if they're willing to ship internationally. Otherwise do some research and find cars locally in the states that have the 5x114.3 PCD with around +38 offset.

Bodykits - well they're probably the hardest to get for the magna's and especially the verada's. Basically there are no known bodykits here in Oz for the Verada's. Sideskirts off any car fit up but that's it. Some have made custom ones with modifications but most of the time they fit up magna bumpers, as these can house the vr-x kit, ground effects "g.e" kit (very hard to get as this was a factory option) or some horrible kits from Carmate.com.au whose parts need to be professionally moulded to fit up and they do not care about how they treat and package parts - member "Danstar" found this out the hard way. Otherwise if you wnat to spend $500AUD and goodness knows how much for postage then you can get a really nice front bar from "JVM" but I'm not sure they are still producing these bars. Since you're in the states you'd be able to get the Duraflex VIP kit for cheap. None of us down here have been wiling to pony up the odd $1500 to get the kit (postage is around $1200US!!) and then still have to spend the money for painting and moulding if it doesn't fit up well. Maybe you could be the first? :)

I'm not really worried about the bodykit, as my stock lip kit makes me a pretty happy camper. But I do want wheels, and possibly coilovers in the future. It's good to know where I'm standing tho, thanks for your input.

Stock is +46, and anything under +35 will be pushing it as far as fitting within the guards.

best thing to do would be to find a member selling an Aus spec VRX bodykit or Ralliart Bodykit, both factory models but look the best.

Edit: anything else in terms of Coilovers, LSDs and other go fast bits usually are hard to find.

Coilovers..

Kido Racing
K Sport
DGR Suspension
Pedders

DGR Suspension has a setup that is available direct in the US.. never seen a fitted set though.

K Sport have been fitted by many club members and have received rave reviews.

Kido so far has one member.. But no doubt that will increase in time to come.

Pedders are a Australian company that have a custom setup available.. Never seen them fitted.. but wouldn't surprise me if they've been done a handful of times.

I am trying to set up so I can export to NZ and to USA, only inhibiting factor is the freight cost, for an example the freight on just a set of front springs is about $190au

I'm sure when time comes that won't be a problem, as I've seen frieght for smaller items run upwards of $500-800usd. I'll be keeping in touch with everyone on parts, I am somewhat interested in maybe getting a Verada nameplate sometime eventually.
