Just gotten my hands on a MMCS unit from a 2008 Pajero.

I have it wired up on my test bench, but when I go to turn it on (by putting 12v onto the ACC+) nothing happens. The unit does incorporate CANBUS...

Does anyone know if I'll need a CANBUS signal running to it to get it working?

Either that or I have a faulty unit on my hands.

Do you have both Constant 12V and Acc 12V connected? Both are required.

Yeah man, that's head unit basics 101. Looking at the block diagram and the plugs on the MMCS, either I'm using the wrong wiring diagram or the head unit isn't really a CANBUS unit..
