The quater mile registry that member name V-rex with a tj vrx did a 14.7. Has anyone beaten this time in a 5sp auto? Cheers Kurt.

Magtone was in the 14 secs, with a 5speed N/A auto.....
Adjustable cam gears, head opened, no tear downs....

Yeah, Magtone is the only other N/A 5 speed that's hit the 14s. I think it was around a 14.9.

Pretty sure its someones fat slug AWD :P ...... 14.4 on a G-Tec meter !

Well theres a 14.7 in a vrx auto. I reckon a 5sp with 380
Cams exhaust and tune will hit a 14.5 if I was driving one. There not much slower than the 5sp manual and I hit a 14.2 with shit tyres

There is probably a fair few quick 3rd gens out there, but, understandably, they like their cars too much too flog them down the quarter....
And with the higher standard of cars here today, than say 5 years ago. 14's are slow......

in townsville, on 3 consecutive runs, my good friends aurion sx6 was running 15.18 - 15.3 @ 90, where as my magna was running whats in my sig. i think thats because the townsville track is uphill. having driven both, the aurion is faster until about 90, and then the magna starts gaining, noticeably. the aurions are much smoother and better reving than a 3.5, and would definitley beat a stock 3.5L 5sp. but would probably be matched by the 380.

5sp autos are underestimated. Aurions are quicker but. Not much at all and the 3.5l magnas are old school compared to aurion. Personal opinion just wanna get a mildley modded 5sp and crack a 14.5.
