Hello,
I have an 03 Magna TL, the air con vents in the middle are not blowing air at all.
The side air vents blow nice cold air at any speed you set the air con to.
The compressor turns on properly and works, it's just i am getting no air from the middle vents...:(
Any suggestions? I took the middle dash panels off and couldn't see any obvious obstructions :/ may be something really simple I'm guessing, just haven't had a chance to get it looked at properly yet.

Silly question, but have you set the controllers on the middle vent to "on"? lol
Ignore that, I'm thinking of a TJ.
Probably one of the controller cables has come adrift, or a servo motor not working.

yeah the controls are fine lol, just no air coming from the middle vents :(. Probably best i just take it to a air con place i guess

If there is no air at all (heat or cold) coming through the middle vents then I'd assume that you must have a leak somewhere or your airflow servo isn't working and not changing the direction of flow.
I'd recommend sticking your head under the steering wheel and observing if the airflow servo/mobule is moving. Its attached to the drivers side of airflox box that is behind console. Look for a black box with a metal rod coming out of it connected to some white bent plastic levers. Turn the first wheel on the dash and change the flow of air. If the servo moves then it is functional and we can rule that out. (and vica versa). If it is moving, then attempt to disconnect the rod by removing the plastic clip that holds it in place and then try move those levers by hand (with the air running through the vents) and see if anything changes or something is getting jammed. Be sure to make a marking on the rod before you remove it so you know where to retighten it too.
If you still have problems then you may have an airflow issue - either leakage or blockage. You may need to take out the dash to fully inspect and/or replace the part. Maybe a good blowout with a powerful air compressor through the vents & airbox might help it a little bit.
Good luck with it - let us know how you go. If you need the layout of the dash and all the parts inside it then let me know as I have diagrams.

thanks man, i'll give it a go tomorrow. Especially since it's going to be 36+ degrees all week here, i need an air con working! haha
The air mix motor may be playing up. I had it happen a while ago and replaced under warranty.

Hi Trev here i have a TJ Magna and had this problem and if you look for this as mentioned above by MagnaP.I Look for a black box with a metal rod coming out of it connected to some white bent plastic levers, now on my tj it was a cable and there is a clip where the cable clips into,if its out buy a inch either way you wont get any air coming out of the center dash vents,i had the dash pulled apart to install cables for a amp and when i reconnected the cable i connected the cable an inch to far forward,so i moved the cable back to its original position and viola i have good strong cold air, hope this helps, cheers.
