H i Guys my magnaoverheats going up steep long hills or when idling i had radiator cleaned and thermostat relaced 6 mths ago have used no coolant since uses about 1.5 ltrof oil between changes fans were checkedby auto elec said they are fine i am now told ihave a cracked head and there is moisture in no 5 cyl where it has come from i dont know any ideas ?

If it is that minor I would try a bottle of "head fix" type stuff - its hit and miss but usually is good on really minor cracks.

check your oil to see if it is milky. if it has used no coolant, unless you have seriously overheated this thing (and i mean like on the red bar for more than a couple of minutes) or dumped cold water into an over heating engine, i would bet a fair bit of money that you dont have a cracked head. it will far more likey be the head gasket, and from what i have read of a reputable source (madmagna) these metal gaskets very rarely fail.
to conclusively show if you have exhaust gasses entering your cooling system, you can have the coolant checked. any reputable radiator shop will do this.

Yup apparently you can use a condom over the rad inlet on top and tell if its got oil in it...

how does that work? sounds stupid to me....
mate, just get a carbon monoxide test. that will rule out a head gasket or head.
