Hi all, I was just wondering were all TH Solara's 3.5 or were some 3.0, I seen one for sale and the owner says its a 3 litre I thought all TH Magnas were 3.5 and only a small number of excutives were 3 litres, maybe I'm wrong, cheers

My TH Exec is 3.0 litres. I'm assuming at the TH stage (and I think I read on Wiki or something) that the 3.0 was standard on the Exec and possibly the Advance, and 3.5 in the higher ups. It was an option I think.

My TH Solara wagon is a 3.5.
But I don't know if all are 3.5.
Best bet is to get a vin number.
6MMTH 5 or 6 = 3.0
6MMTH 7 or 8 = 3.5

If you're not sure, check the engine number... It's not hard. It sits on the flat metal part of the engine directly above the starter motor.

All the TH Solaras are based on the Advance. They are all 3.5 The TH only got the 3.0 in the Executive and even then the 3.5 was a $750 option from new.

The car is 200 k's away I haven't seen it yet only a couple of photos and the owner takes ages to get back to me on any questions I ask.

Ask for it anyway, fairly sure you need it for REVS.
