Hey,
I have wrinkles and creases on my drivers seat from where you get in and out. The leather isn't cracked or scuffed, just stretched/wrinkled/creased. Was thinking maybe a heat gun would fix this?
I've heard this is how the pros do it, so let me know if you've tried it and how it went.
Cheers.
That sounds pretty dodgy to me. Previously I've owned a few old Jaguars with Connelly leather upholstery and have never heard of that method (I was on the JagLovers forum for 7 years) - I'd imagine it would rapidly dry the leather out and discolour of crack it. It's not something you can just try out in an area where it will not be noticed so I'd be very wary. However, there's always something new out there to learn!
A heat gun is about 300degrees upwards. Leather is animal skin. My best experiences with these temperatures and animal skin is the creation of pork crackling, which I don't think is what you're after.
Leather conditioner I think is the way to go.
Also I'm not sure if the seats are all leather, or just leather front/vinyl back. Heat might work on vinyl, but could ruin that too.

I think I'll take your advice and buy some really good/expensive leather condition stuff. I've been using bowdens leather love on it which works fantastic. Just these damn creases annoy me.

Think of welders gloves if your going to heat a animal Hide, Dries out, goes hard and burns.....
It wont shrink like certain plastics.....Some of witch will strech or go hard, or loose their inherent properties.
Pork crackling is a little different to a hide, Pig skin is not too disimilar to our own.....
Conditioning is best, if its real bad, it should re stuffed or retrimmed
The magna leather is semi-synthetic, so it may work. However I wouldn't use a heatgun - Way too hot, hair dryer would be a better idea.

Forget heat guns, Botox injections or collagen injections.
Go to a motor trimmer who can undo the stiching on the offending piece of animal skin and redo the sewing, making it a bit tighter. Easy job.

Well I gave a hair dryer a crack. I sprayed it with leather conditioner and left it wet. I put the hair dryer it on its hottest setting and I just kept moving it over and over the leather so it wouldn't get too hot. Now the wrinkles are all gone and the leather is might tighter! It took about 5-10 on the area to notice any difference. Might be a good idea to give it a good clean with some leather cleaner and a brush first though.
Epic win! Good result, and good to know it works.
