Hey Guys,
Just a few easy ones for you all,
1) I've got a noisy strut top on the front right side, just wondering if it is easier to replace the whole shock absorber or just get a bushes kit? Doesn't seem to be any oil or nasty crap coming out of the strut itself. If just a bushes kit how hard will it be to put it all in?
2) I want to run an amp for my speakers, where is a "pre-drilled" hole in the firewall to put a cable through so i'm not drilling and hoping?
May be ridiculous questions but i don't know until i ask haha.
Cheers

Strut top plate has a bearing. They clunk when the bearing gets dry and wears. It is a separate part to the strut. The top plate is available from Mitsu.
Look for and use one of the loom entry points.

The amp cable can be run through the passenger side wheel arch. If you pull the splash guard out from the arch you can simply follow the existing loom into the cabin of the car.

I would recommend using the blank grommit that sits just above the factory loom instead.

Spanners, sockets, spring compressors, and of course a new top bearing plate.

may be a ridiculous question again, if i buy new struts, do i get the strut top with them? or is that a separate purchase all together? because a strut top alone is $100 i may as well get new shocks as these would be getting on now...if i can of course.

Shocks, springs, top plate are separate items.
