I'm trying to unplug the electrical connector to the throttle position sensor on my wife's KJII Verada. I can't work out if it's the small brown coloured connector that comes off or the black connector it's attached to. I don't want to break anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try using some small flathead screwdrivers from a precision skrewdriver set. Use them to get under the casing and stretch it over the plastic notches on the ends of the TPS. This does take a fair amount of time but is certainly a better option than removing the TPS and try to realign it. Try not to break the casing but its not the end of the world if it does - the connector will hold on fine without the red casing - push comes to shove you could just tape it on for extra security - although avoid this if possible.

Thanks. I've got a precision screwdriver set so I'll give them a try.

A lot of the connectors in the engine bay have wire latches on them. Have a good look for a thin, black wire. Lift that off the catch and the plug should slip off.
