Hi all
Came across this on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/250821189356?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#shId
While the 380/Galant isn't specifically listed, does anyone know how close the curvature of the boot is to the ones that are?
I think this would look quite nice (and different!) on my 380, assuming it fits, of course :)

For 11 bucks try it and see - then we all will know! :)
But more seriously, it is ABS, so worst case you can remove the tape, sand to correct curvature and put new tape

I've looked at these before, I'd be interested if it would fit the front TJ bonnet beak.
I like my debadged front but wouldn't mind seeing what one of these would look like.
I'd also be interested to hear how real (or fake) the fake CF looked in real life.

Given the size of this one, I am not sure it would fit on the beak unless you mounted it upside-down :)
FYI I ordered one as well. Given how slow "first-class" mail is, I am not expecting it to arrive for about a month.

I'm planning to fit mine on the rear as I debadged the rear and thought it may look ok and a bit different. Not much to lose if it doesnt fit

It'd look good against the colour of Mecha's car....Fooz's even...But there's too much grey there for me... Upgrade to chrome maybe :ninja:

Take the old one off put the new one on LOL
Seriously many methods to remove existing badge, Heat gun, fishing line or just prise it off being careful not to damage paintwork and then remove old adhesive.

Did you have to adjust the shape at all? Mine arrived today and the back is dead flat, I don't know if the tape will be strong enough to hold it down on the curved surface of the boot lid.

Yeah I noticed that,,,so I got the heat gun and Gently warmed it and 'formed' the tips in just a bit and it fits flush now.
Didnt seem to affect the tape.
I quite like the look of grey on grey but thats me. I wear a grey suit with grey tie and grey shirt. Matches my grey hair haha

What temperature did you have the heat gun set on? Did you heat it up against the actual boot lid surface, or somewhere else?

Dont know, my gun only has one setting. I shaped it off the car so I didnt risk the paint. Doesnt need much shaping. just do each diamond seperately.
When its warm enough I just formed it on an old leather glove then tried against panel. Took 10 mins.
