Hey you lot,
Some rather annoying dings in the boot lid of my TF, looking to get it replaced. Figured for my wallet's sake, I'd try to find one the same colour at a wrecker and do a straight swap, instead of having to respray an off-colour one.
My TF is Arctic Blue (Colour code LR), which when I bought it second hand the dealer said it was a pretty common colour, so I should have little trouble sourcing parts. This has turned out to be... not the case. I did, however, find a TE in Arctic Blue at pick'n'payheaps at Blacktown which looks to have a boot lid almost identical to mine (to my untrained eye, anyway).
Some rudimentary searching of this forum suggests that anything TE to TH should be compatible, but I was just looking for some confirmation. Is there any modification/adjustment work required or would I just be able to stick it right in and away it goes?
