Hey guys got a quick one,

Ive recently had my car off the road with some stockies on it while it was sitting in my garage for the last 2 weeks.

I just got my mags back the other day, fitted them to the car, tyres were balanced, and then on top of that ive just had a wheel alignment done.

Now i got back into driving the car today and it seems at 80+ k's there seems to be a heavy knocking in my steering, it wasn't there before, and it doesnt happen at slow speeds.

Just took the left hand mag of, and found that my CV boot has a split in it (unsure whether the CV is damaged at all however)

And found this, its hard to see but alot of grease has come out.

Now would this be a cause for the wheels to be knocking??

Most Magna owners will be familiar with that photograph! lol I certainly am! I'm surprised that with all the wheels on - wheels off you have done, you didn't spot this before.

CV joint is probably destroyed, unbalancing the drive shaft.

Fix it and see if it improves things. If you are handy with a spanner the kit is about $15.

Thanks MadMax I find you always very helpful. :)

Atleast I know when I give my mechanics the car tomorrow that this should be the only issue I need to fix.
