Im after a replacement spare for the VRX. Turns out the spare is a 16 inch steel BA/BF jobbie. Yeah I know the PCD is the same but the hub sizes are different, hence the weight is taken by the studs instead of the hub hole.

I do not consider this safe even for a short 100Km drive to get out of trouble.

So I'm looking for for one 16-17 inch wheel. Don't care if alloy or steel as its a spare. Heard that Lancer 16 inch wheels have the same PCD and hub hole size. Only ask just to widen my search options.

Yeah thanks Zac I've seen that wheel. Not really looking to spend that kinda coin. Just happy with cheap steely or alloy. Just need to know if the Lancer wheels will work.

Why not get a hub spacer for the current spare? You'll probably have to do that if you buy anything other than a Magna wheel anyway.

Agree with above. Hub spacer or CBL (central bearing locater) is what you need.
Always fitted when purchasing after market wheels.
Measure the hub diameter and hub diameter of the wheel then ask around at your local tyre shops.
