View Full Version : Can not start car after Radio replacement

Just wondering does the Verada Radio double din unit have some kind of security device attached to it as i have just taken the header unit out and put in a alpine single din unit and i can not get the starter to engage..!
I tried another battery and same
Where is the inhibitor switch located have i knocked off a wire ??

Check the fuse in the engine bay. In the yellow holder.

The little blinking light on the Mitsu radio is just that. lol It's there to indicate the radio is coded and useless to a potential thief. No magic car immobiliser circuitry in the radio, it's seperate. No inhibitor switch anywhere.
You probably just blew a fuse - as above, check the two in the yellow holder.

While you're at it check your other fuses. You can blow a few things fiddling with the stereo
