I have added mits-fix to my files for future reference. Thank you for the info.
I have just been quoted $1100.00 to:
Supply &change transmission fluid
supply and fit timing belt, seals, tensioner etc
supply and fit rear window regulator
supply and fit platinum spark plugs
I know that the work will be done properly and all parts will be changed and fitted correctly. Is this a good deal or am I being touched up?????

Sounds ok. Lots of time and effort required in some of those jobs.

Mine was 1300 and the Mech had it for two days

Timing belt is around the $600 figure. Trans flush and refill around 250-300 so overall not bad

All that work performed by somebody who knows them that well for that cost = no brainer.

Thank you all. A private mechanic, that is fully qualified offered to do it all. The best part is I know it will be done.
