Hi. all IMy 2001 TJ Magna sports pulls left when driving. I have been to 2 different whell alignment places and the chamber/caster is right for all 4 wheels. I even have new tyres and the problem is not fixed. I have to put 10 psi less in the front drivers tyre so it is not too excessive. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what is the fix? I know that roads are cambered to the left but my car is pulling left far and beyond what should be expected. My girlfirend has a TJ sedan and it goes perfectly straight. Any ideas? Cheers D

Could also be the rack, when the rack wears you will then get a car that will tend to wander, the fluid bypasses the teflon seal and in the end you will find that the steering will almost want to turn to full lock on its own

Have a look at the LHS lower control arm rear bush.
If the rack is OK then the answer is to change this bush to one that has increased castor.

I have increased castor bushes on both sides on my AWD, have fiddled with the castor settings to have slightly more castor on the LHS.
The car now tracks dead straight hands off.
This is a well known fix going back many decades.
London buses have increased castor on the LHS to track straight and to even out tyre wear.

I bet that you have increased edge wear on the outside of the LHF tyre.

I suffered the same thing with my TF magna, i ended up putting camber bolts in the front and it fixed the problem, however i am suffering the same problem Madmagna has mentioned. My power steering rack is only weeping at the moment, and by the time my next wheel alignment is due im planing on swapping out the rack and pump with one from a TW.

hmmm could be similar problem to mine, will a new rack fix steering play? the wheel bearings and tie rod ends are good.
