To those with 380's and a sub, how have you stopped that really annoying rattle in the sun glasses holder?
I can drop it down a little which helps stop it, however this blocks the rear view mirror.
Any ideas?

I can't say I have noticed much rattle mate, I keep business cards and stuff like that in mine, but if you don't use yours do you think a piece if foam might sort it out?

I have a stock sound system so no sub, but I fixed my sunglasses holder rattle by sealing the front edge (where it hinges) with two layers of double sided tape. On the inside so you can't see it. Of course that means the stupid thing can't be opened and is now unusable, but I never used it anyway!

Foams not a bad idea, but yeh then it becomes unusable. However if I do have anything in it (ie sunnies), they rattle far worse than the holder does lol.
Might give the foam a go, otherwise tape it shut might be the only way. I did notice a little rattle even with the stock system, but no where near as bad as it was with the sub.

I am going to glue a thin rubbery/foam wedge, like a door stop in mine,

You can also get a rattle from the sun visor extension piece

For the first time, last night I heard this. My bass was on 3 off the HU which was why, it's usually on 0 as the bass gets too much lol Turned it back down to 0 and it went away. Still had good base on 0 also.

Purchased a sheet of rubberized film. Cut to shape of inside of holder then peeled off backing paper and stuck it inside.
Cut a small piece of the same for each side and stuck those on the outside of the holder where it closes up.
No more rattles.
