Hey everyone,

Just a question I've had about the climate control module; is there anyway to display the interior temperature?

I know there is a button on the LHS which lets you display the outside temperature, but knowing what the current interior temperature would be far more useful.

I also know there is a thermal sensor tucked under the vent to the right of the 'auto' knob, but is there anyway to re program the module to display this temperature instead??

Or will nothing short of bringing my own thermometer into the car work? lol

Thanks for your help in advance :)

nope, just adjust the temp up and down until fan goes onto its lowest setting. that will be the internal temp within a degree or 2

Thats a shame :(

So no way you could re-program it at all?
(Even if it was possible, I'm sure it would be quite costly)

Well obviously it has a sensor built in but the display doesnt seem to ahve any way to communicate an internal temperature with the driver. Would need aftermarket screens / computer.

If you wanted cabin temp its a matter of writing software and using a microprocessor :) I'm working on something to add a few cool little functions, but I'm a long way off yet... It will display in an additional screen, not the climate screen though. Sideproject with an Arduino microprocessor.

You could just place the exterior temp sensor inside the car lol

Pull out the wiring diagrams and work out which wires in the loom are for the outside temp sensor. Find a spot to mount the sensor then just tap into the dash loom and wire-in the sensor.

If you're really keen then you could wire in a switch that would allow you to switch between outside and inside temp reading.
