OK so it still won't start.
Pretty convinced that it's the immobiliser and Mal has offered to get that sorted if required.
I've read that the BEM can forget who it is if disconnected from the powerd for long periods. Now I find that hard to believe, but this car has been off the battery for a long time (at least 3 months).
Can anyone cormfirm or deny this.
New Key has been coded to car and old key has been found, neither make it run.
I'm not convinced that the fuel pump is working, is there a way to test it?
How can I check the injector pulse (test light/multimeter)?
Also WTF is the ECU? I can find the BEM easily enough (had it out and covers off, butit looks OK, no obvious burnouts on the board).
I used a mates LAUNCH CReaderV, but it wouldn't talk to the ECU to give me any codes. I've heard that you can earth part of the diagnostic connector and something will flash to indicate the fault code, is this true? and if so how is it done?
Thanks in advance and happy valentines day<3, though I'm rapidly falling out of love with this car.
