What part of the loom was cut? Got any pics? Green wire with a orange line, is most probebly cabin illumination (negative for the interior lights) it runs off the BEM.

Bell out the wire to see where it goes. Take a photo of the plug form behind where that wire enters and then I can tell you where that wire goes.

Ok that plugs into the relay box under the driver's kick pannel. My car doesn't have that wire so I'll have a gander at the workshop manual and let you know.

Plug name is = "B-76"

This wire does not exist.

I honestly cannot find this wire in the circuit diagrams in the TH,TJ or TL/W circuit diagrams. The wire runs to pin 8 on plug B-76. I checked the other wires going to the plug to confirm the plug is B-76, the colors match up to what's in your plug.

I'll post some screen dumps in a tick.

Personally I think you should tape it up, but if it is something important then you're rooted. Does the cut in this wire match a cut in another part of the loom where you've joined the wires else where?

Have you had a chance to test fit the loom and see if everything works? Maybe its something to do with an aftermarket alarm the vr-x donor car had? Obviously it'd be quite a sophisticated alarm system to be integrated into the loom but possible I suppose.

Mate, when you come over to pick up that steering wheel, why dont you grab one of these harness I have here to look at, you may be able to work it out.

I am sure I have seen that wire before and done something with it, just has me beat as to what it was for without looking at the actual harness

Plug B-76 is usually the plug controlling the Verada extras like lights, climate, etc.

There is an extra wire with a 20 amp fuse living next the the JB that could be that color.
