Has anyone had any experience with these brakepads? Looking at getting a set of these or a set of supercheap ones (calibre) would highly appreciate any feedback...

Only help I can give is that in Toowoomba they sell a lot of the Calibre pads...probably because they are cheaper. SuperCheap sales staff say they have had no probs with them. They are made by Ferodo AFAIK.

if your gonna buy pads, my suggestion / opinion would be either QFM A1Rs or Bendix

If using on the road, A1RM are definately not the way to go unless you do track work as well

Supercrap auto is also not the way to go lol, these are the only thing stopping your car, spend a few $$ on something decent for your sake, your family's sake and the sake of those around you

QFM, RDA or Bendix are all reasonable pads, the QFM being my first choice and the Bendix my last. There are also others out there such as the Lucas, they are great but really noisy lol

I had bosch quickstops installed on AWD rada. they scored the heck out of my discs, were so dusty it was ridiculous and they didn't even last 1 year, and that was with normal everyday driving. Oh, and I had to get my discs machined when I replaced them.
I'll never use them again.

I now have Ferodo Thermo quiets. They are so much better. Quiet and not at all dusty and have lasted 14 months so far with no scoring or dramas.

I work at Bosch and have used the Qikstop pads on many cars. They are not the best pads but certainly not the worst. I have found them to be a long lasting pad that as ADM has said gets into the rotors. Not dusty at all from all cars I have put them on magna's, falcons commos, lancers etc.

Oh well I get them for $20 ish front or rear sets and cheap PBR rotors via work so pretty much a non issue for me on my daily if I have to replace

I agree, Calibre is pretty crappy. I had them on my old N13, and they didn't perform very well, nor were they as durable as something comparatively priced.
I used Zircon pads on the same N13 when I upgraded the calipers and rotors to N14 SSS ones, and they were better than the Calibres by a long shot, though similarly priced.
The most recent pads that I have used are RDA Extreme pads (in conjunction with new RDA rotors); and for the price that I paid (~$50) they were pretty good. They bit well, and were pretty durable. The only downside was the more brake dust - and even that, only slightly.

Generally bosch products are very good to excellent. My mechanic at the time could only get the bosch pads on the day (fronts). The only good thing about them was initial braking response was very good. I don't know, maybe this was an earlier compound as they were fitted Dec '09 and needed replacment Nov '10. They wore out quick and were very dusty, as in I had to wash my front wheels weekly.
