Hey all, I’ve recently sold the TF and now have a TJ2 VRX. I’m wondering if anyone knows somewhere in SA where I can get a genuine carbon fibre inset for the centre console do-da (the area where the a/c, etc is and also the gear stick).
Cheers

There is no such thing unless its custom made and will cost alot.

What was wrong with the old thread?
You will need to get it custom made, and if the price of CF doesnt throw you off enough the labor to have it done will.

It’s officially on the ‘backburner’ for now. I’m getting the windows re-tinted and from what I’ve been told by a few members the stick on type CP look isn’t that crash hot...

Carbon fiber is not easy. I did some bits (as training for and thats to aviation standard and procedures) and to do it to a good standard takes a bit of time and skill. One needs to make a mould (thats done by hand) and then come up with attachment that'd be perfectly same as the original. Its also hand work getting it perfect. Then there is time needed to have it cured. If you want the look, then go for 3M carbon-effect wrap. Looks pretty good. Several Vic members have it on other parts. If you are handy with scissors, stanley knife and screwdriver you can do it yourself easily.
