my 92 kr is making a loud squealing noise while I put steering in full lock.

Please, any ideas will help. Thanks in advance.

Loud squealing noise? Sounds to me like the belt is loose! As for the wining noise you don't have a low quality amp do you?

ok so i replaced the drive belt and squealing noise is gone.
With the whining noise it appears to be coming from the gearbox???
When i accelerate in drive or neutral there appears to be no noise going from my exhaust, but in park it sounds normal

Probably just diff noise. Common in 20 year old cars, my 94 V6 TS does it.
Or maybe a driveshaft is getting noisy.

:( big problems now.
car has lost power when accelerating, its like its taking off in 2nd? and when driving if i apply some acceleration it wont drop a gear as it usually did.
If i sit on a hill in drive or neutral i wont roll back as it use to do.
Need heaps of help. I miss my car, its doing my head in
