ive got 235/35/r19 on all 4 ends, now the front two are getting to the stage where they need replacing. a mate of mine has 2 x 245/35/r19 which he hasnt used. With having these on the front car will it upset the handling of the car at all and cause any issues

Depends on wheel offset to know if they will scrub but not much else happens, the car may have a tendency to follow the contours of the road a little more. Ego, Tzaboy and QMD801 all use 245.

When I first got the rims they had a 245 on them, but they scrubbed on the back

I recall you telling me you had the guards flared too?

Yes and car is too low. if i lift the car an inch it wont scrub at all.

245/35R20 are also a bit bigger than you should run on a magna, unless of course you have a big ass single turbo that would destroy a set of 245/30R20s every 5 days. I'm guessing the cheaper size + extra gearing was a good decision.

Having 245s on the front and 235s on the back really wont do anything. The contact patch difference is small enough that you would notice more of a handling change if you pulled the spare out of the boot, and the rolling diameter difference is so small you can ignore it. Just check for scrubbing on the inside at stock height, or if you're lowered it WILL scrub on either the inside or outside, depending on offset.

If i had your magna i would be running 245s for better traction and stability anyway.

I would be more concerned about tyre prices considering you will have to get 2x2 different sizes

I run 285 on the front...made a huge difference, too low is not a performance enhancement so it's not something I've gone out to achieve.

How does it feel on the road?
Do you have to fight the wheel all the time?

I was thinking of running 255/35R19 in my ralliart but ended up never having the chance.

I was initially fighting the wheel(lot of bump steer/ruts pulling the wheel), but I gave it .6 of a degree of negative camber and a little more camber (7 degrees) and it's amazing now! I'd say almost like stock.. keep in mind how much bump steer you get will be largely governed by how close you stay to stock offset and your camber.

the wheel track is considerably wider now though, now if I go near a curb it actually starts to hit rather than known you have an inch more space between the wheel and the median if you know what I mean.

after I get the engine kicking arse a bit more I'll look at going 305 or 315's but on 18's not 19's (people saying the ride is worse on 19's are 100% correct)

this is not on a Magna though, correct?

Correct, I also switched to coilover's and custom camber/castor tops

the coilovers actually made the ride worse :|
