I want to do a dual muffler system for my te. This is going to be my centrepiece mod so I am going to map it out and really go all out. The first thing I want to sort out is the rear bumper. I need to have it custom so the tips can stick out properly. Can I modify my stock bumper or do I replace it? I assume it would need to be replaced, so who can supply it for me?

I once saw a plastic fix place and they said they could cut the bumper to suit the shape of the tips but couldn't guarantee that the paint wouldnt chip off in the area afterwards & said it would have to be repainted afterwards (costing a few hundred) so I didn't end up doing it.
I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has found a cheap way to do it too..

The plastic used in the bumpers can not be moulded, so the only option is to cut. My vrx had another bit plastic welded in so both cutouts look the same.
