Having a lot of problems with the central locking/Alarm on my KS Verada.

Everything had always worked fine and then all of a sudden when you open the door with the key on the passenger side the lock wants to fight you and go back down.

So, i have just been using the drivers door.

But, when doing that, if you lock from the drivers door and then open from the passenger side the alarm goes and vice-versa if yo lock from the passenger door and open from the drivers side, the alarm goes.

Now, since today, the drivers side is doing the same when you open it, the lock fights you and wants to stay down.

The other thing that started happening today is even when you do get the drivers door open (might happen on passengers door too, i haven't tried) and close the door, the car automatically locks.

Found this out the hard way today when i opened the car to start it this morning and closed the door to open the gat and the car locked itself with my phone, wallet and house keys inside while still running !!

Does anyone know how to fix this or where i can take the too to have this sorted as it is really inconvenient and frustrating.

Also, i have a factory remote now and wondering who can code it ?

I have exactly the same issue ,my car is a KR. Started a few months ago. Haven't really looked for a fix as other more pressing problems , but if someone finds one it would be appreciated.

I'd be testing the Central Locking..

Editing again..

Actuator has either got a bad ground (Dirty etc.) OR The actuator is shorting.

You unlock the door.. The actuator is open but telling the alarm its closed and WAH WAH WAH off goes your alarm.

OR

The actuator has too much junk on the inside and is no opening completely, so it closes again and same thing.. WAH WAH WAH!

Either open up the actuator and give her a clean

- Is it Painful..? YES
- Will it Fix It..? MAYBE

It's sorted now.

I had to run an aftermarket central locking kit in the car and disable the factory central locking system.

Oh, well, at least i have two remotes and keyless entry now !!
