does anyone know of a place they recommend to get as much dynamat as I can afford fitted? I'm thinking of removing seats and carpet, and doing the floor, and inside the doors. But it looks like a big job, so if it's reasonable, I'd get someone else to do it.....

thanks

Yeah mate, my mates own an audio shop down in seaford. JAKEYS has just had work done by them and i sware by them. They are also authorized dynamat distributors. http://www.facebook.com/AmplAudio

Yep, I did indeed just get my entire system done by them and they did a pretty good job, overall I'm happy. However, I bought my Dynamat seperately and only had them fit it, 9 squares (Bulk pack) for $230 with free postage from FHRX Studios interstate. Ampl do stock it but I don't know how much they charge, but they are decent guys and I'd recommend them.

How much was installation?

I can't comment on that, I got introductory pricing because they had just opened when I got my quote and were doing a special. You'd need to ask them.

Whoever you get to do your install make sure you explain to them that the stock tweeter mount is integral to the structure of that panel, or they're not going to know and you're going to have to dodgy it up because you realise after you leave that they binned the mount and screws and you notice your black triangles are about to fly off and have to wind your window down and pull them into your cabin at 80km/h on the way home, LOL.

Haha yeah but no hard feelings, I reckon it was an honest mistake, I assume they just didn't pay attention to the fact the tweeter was actually holding that panel on, no harm no foul. It was the first time they had dealt with Verada tweeter pods. Although if you do go with Ampl Audio, and I still do recommend them, mention it to them.
