Hey guys. Just wondering if theres any hidden features of the ECU that I can tap into? I read somewhere that I can possibly get fading lights, etc by tapping a certain wire or a pin or something like that.

I went down to a wreckers and grabbed some footwell lights that I will install soon, maybe even properly wire in a key hole light. Is there a particular way of wiring in a keyhole light?

Fading lights is a BEM function.
Don't know about your car, but on a TJII AWD, I was able to directly plug in the footwell lights, put in the C pillar lights to wiring loom connectors that were already there and change the front map lights to a full verada interior light and map light assembly + fit the ignition barrel bulb holder and wiring. These were basically all plug and play as I suspect that Mitsu used a common loom for the 3 AWD variants. My reasoning is that there are sunvisor mirror light connectors also tucked up at the front of the car.

Go and have a look at the wiring diagrams for your car and look up under the passenger side to see if there is a 2 way connector taped up in the loom in the A pillar area.

Yeah, I have a TH Exec so I suspect that none of the wiring is there.
