When I installed mine, I searched the internet and these forums and found quite a bit of info.
unfortunately, some of the details were conflicting, probably because of some minor differences in models and regional specs (ie: international & Jap models).

One that I saved is a PDF doc. I've uploaded here for you:

If you're OK with a multi meter, the power & remote lines are identifiable and I think the speaker colours are pretty standard, so not difficult to ID.
I also found a Magna to ISO converter and this let me use the factory magna plug and then just match the wire colours to my new stereo - this was about the best $13 I spent that week!

Hey I'm swapping my head unit overe as well those links are awesome. But just one thing is that on the back of the stock head unit there are two other connections which are not mentioned in the links....??? One is the aerial.(all good) the other I'm not sure. I'll do more searching but if u have any suggestions'

Pulled the radio out of my 2004 TL ES today. Other than the main plug, there is the aerial, single wire mute for the radio when using the factory handsfree phone setup and a big round socket for a CD changer. Mute can be left disconnected when you put in an aftermarket radio.

Hey guys

I bought a used kenwood double din cd player for my 97 verada, i bought an aerpro kenwood to iso harness and a iso to mistubishi harness off ebay.

Everything clipped together nicely, but when i went to power it up the h/u wouldnt turn on...

Unfortunately i dont have a multimeter, but i'm guessing i bought a dud deck....

I noticted the harness had a ground wire, i had that screwed in initially unscrewed it and tried that no go...

all clipped in nicely:

two loose wires on harness (remote wires?)

I checked the fuse on the kenwood deck its ok, i plugged the oem deck back up and its displaying _ _ _ I'm guessing its prompting for a security code and its getting power so is it an issue with my harness??

I'm going to buy a pioneer to iso harness tomorrow, and if my pioneer deck fires up i guess that means my kenwood deck is a dud?
