My TF's antenna was bent at the car wash, altho I straightened it I've had ratty reception ever since (putting a coat hander on it makes it a lot better..). Just wondering where a cheap replacement can be sourced? Ebay only had some pricey electric units and I spoke to 1 wreckers who quoted me $70 for a 2nd hand unit!!!! (Worse case I might have to go with them..)
Any other places?

I got a areo pro branded one from auto bahn for about $60 and i was lead to believe that you can buy a replacement mast for it so you look into to it and see if you can replace the mast as i know holden also do this with factory ones

If it's an automatic you can just buy the mask for about $45.

You say "I broke my antenna", but I hear an excuse to go electric! Haha, it's awesome. I bought an antenna with half+full mast from a member, and replaced the mast inside it. Works awesomely. I can drop the antenna if I'm listening to my iPod via USB, extend to half if I'm driving around town listening to the radio, and crank it to full as I leave the reception area.
But a normal electric one would be just fine too. Hell, if you still want a manual one, you can get the mast itself. The service manual shows how to remove the mast, however you just need to unscrew the top and slide it out. Of course I had trouble removing mine. Had to soak it in WD40 to get the bloody thing off.

mine recently got caught on my factory spoiler and as I closed the boot it snapped the Arial off :(
Sounds like a good excuse for a new electric one as well :D To the wreckers!
