Ok need some help! I want to remove the overhead map light assembly in the 380 just behind the rear view mirror.
Is it just a matter of pulling like crap or are there some hidden screws etc?? I gave it a bit of a pull but didnt want to break anything .....

Four spring loaded clips, two at the front & two at the back.
I've had mine out a million times, I find it easiest to start with the front (nearest the window).
Slide you fingers in around the sides (one hand each side), then move them to the front, with one hand near each corner, jammed between the roof lining and the top of the console.
Then grab the console and jerk down hard with both hands.
Repeat with the back.
The plastic is a little sharp, if you have soft desk jockey's hands like mine use a rag or cloth between your fingers & the console.
Best to pull down on front then back evenly, if you try just one corner at a time you risk breaking the plastic.
But of course it's two hours plus since your last post, you've probably got the console out by now, and my dribble is a waste of time!

lol nah all good advice. I haven't tried it yet coz my new apartment involves an epic journey down to basement level 3 to get to the car & I CBF'd. I'll try it in the morn when I'm heading down to take off to work.
Thanks fellas :)
