My 2007 ES has annoying High pitch sound from dash when launched up to around 5000RPM. This sounds similar to reverse sensor noise but constant and louder. If im going up hill and put foot down hard she drops back gear then revs out well and screeching high pitch noise from dash just before it changes gears.
:roflwtf:

No not belt! Definitely sounds same as putting car in reverse and putting finger on sensor and head in boot with key on but not running.

Is this only when the aircon is on?
Mine makes a high pitched whine when the aircon is on above about 3000rpm, I've always assumed everyone's compressor does the same thing.

I will check when drive it next if only with aircon on! My speakers arnt amped stock still i will get a mate in car to see if he can hear where coming from . Car is on Duel fuel dont think this would make a difference though. Sounds to me center of dash hard to tell so high pitched loud goes about 2-3 sec continuous then stops. I will also try tuning button off on reverse sensors in case that's going off. Thanks for ideas

Try checking it on petrol? - the squeal from the LPG-Petrol change-over switch is pretty loud - maybe you have a wrong LPG setting and it is too lean under power, making system think u are low on LPG and need to change to petrol??

Thanks Terry took car up to high revs on petrol NO squeal i didnt realize switch could make a noise now pretty sure is from it as you suggested.Has this happened to you before? Strange thing is engine light doesnt come on. Is the switch meant to do this if out of tune. I will ring LPG place they told me last time they fixed leak car "must be in tune if light doesnt come on"

Another thread her somwhere about best IMPCO guy in Adelaide - they do the approved SVI LPG system there. Maybe try a google search with the inclusion site:aussiemagna.com as the forum site engin seems a bit underpowered, along with Impco, adelaide 380 etc
Thanks for nice pm :)
Perhaps the other SA guy who did the reseach for ADL good post an update?

Took my 380 for trip from Adelaide to Mt Gambier and back. Car ran perfect heaps of guts at overtaking up hills etc but still squealed from LPG switch when put boot into it. Sat on 110kph average LPG 10L Per 100kms. I rang Croft LPG they told me not normal to happen when hard acceleration means have low pressure as switch designed to squeal when empty to change to petrol as Terry suggested. I have booked car in for Monday to find and fix problem will put result on here when fixed. This place was recommended to me by Impco last time they found leak nearly straight away was high pressure rubber hose from filter to injector rail ! Yet i had car at different LPG spec mechanic which told me wasn't leaking even though i could smell it intermittently.

Interesting info. I find if I trigger petrol warning when tank < 1/8 (eg sudden turn under acceleration to expose pickup pipe) I can't get rid of tone till I refuel. Seems first detection of low LPG in tank disallows return from petrol to LPG till tank is refilled.

Took my 380 to my LPG guy he checked mixtures and pressure settings found pressure was on the low side increased pressure adjustment. It hasn't squealed since even under hard acceleration. Fixed within about 20min. Told me if noise happens again run it out of LPG and book it in to get return valve adjusted inside tank or replaced as can also cause noise. Explained type of ball valve to do with gas return or thats how i understood it. It may be my imagination seems to have even more go in it and rev out easier. Launches to 6000rpm No noise
