Ok guys i want to put in 2 sets of 6inch speakers. 2 in the front doors and 2 on the parcel shelf. Now i dont want to cut a hole in either door or parcel shelf so is it possible to get 6" raisers, i know you can get 6x9 ones. How much would these be? also with tweeters i want to put 1 set in the top corners of the windscreen(not the actual glass but on the roof next to the corner) and the other set on the front doors next to the dash, whats the best way of wiring those up so you cant see the wires and whats the best way of attaching them, any answers to these questions would be great, thanks :).

wiring the tweeters

my suggestion would be to take the dash out, wire the speaker wires to the H/u and feed them around to each side of the dash. (left side, right side near the air vents) and then feed the wires up behind the plastic trim thing. i havent worded this very well but i hope the picture will make sense of it all. so yeah, the red line is the speaker wire behind the dash and behind the plastic trim part.

in the 1st gens the trim part just unclips pretty easily so im assuming the 2nd gens arent too much more different. you'll also b able to c where the roof lining is attached. u could always put a small slit in it to feed the wire up behind the lining to whereever u wanted the tweeters mounted.

6" spacers

yes u can get them from places like autobarn. u can get chipboard ones or black plastic. my 6x9" black plastic spacers were i think $32 for both of them. the chipboard 6" ones aren't very expensive at all... around $12 or something. i wouldnt know how much the 6" plastic spacers would be cause ive never looked at them.

i haven't actually done any of this before but its wat i would do if i was considering wat u are doing. would just b the easiest, most pro way
hopefully someone else can answer the rest of ur questions. hope that helped
