Magna TS V6
Just stopped at the shop on the way home. When I went to start the car again there is a multiple clicking sound under the dash on passenger side (whenever you turn the key to start) and the engine wont crank over.

I believe the battery is in good shape. Lights are all showing on dash.

Any clues? I am a tech and have a workshop manual so I am capable of doing some diagnostics if necessary.

in my TS i had a very similar problem, after leaving it for 10/15 it started fine. problem got worse, until took to auto sparky who added a relay/or replaced a relay and fixed the problem, he said was really simple. if someone here can identify the bit that needs adding or replacing should be easy to fix.

Went back to it and tried jump start and it worked.
Obviously the battery is RS. Also it was the coldest day this year here so it all makes sense.
Sorry to waste anybodys time.

I have had this problem. the noise is the Fuel Pump Relay. bypass the fuelpup power connector to test, if the car starts with an alternative power flow to the fuel pump then its the FPR thats buggered. I replaced mine, then replaced the fuel pump to be sure and shes running sweet. hope this helps. btw the FPR cost me about 10 bucks at the wreckers

(lol im late. sorry for this post :D)
