I want to replace my old O2 sensor with a universal type.
Now the only headache I have is with the two white wires coming from the sensor.
Does it matter which white wire i connect the plug too? There are four wires in total ,Black,Grey,white and white. The two white wires i assume are the heater wires , one positive and one negative. So what is there position on the plug? and does it matter?

Does not matter for the heater wires.
I put a Bosch one in several months ago.
Polarity of the sensor wires do matter, that is why they are different colours.

Yep, I've replaced five of these now using universal types and it doesn't matter which way round you connect the two white wires.

If it did then they wouldn't be the same colour!
