hey guys i came up with this idea on the week end when i was at my dads he just bought 2 of them for his corvette and i said i would love to have one of them in my magna

me and dad then whent to my magna and looked at how it all conects to the auto i have a 1995 v6 auto wagon i will be doing abit of engine work and i think the shifter would add the touch that i am looking for as i dont like the factory shifter and my selector sign is smashed so i need to replace it

so has any one tried this or has done this

I myself do not know, but im posting here that I too would love to know. ive found selectors in other cars i like (BMW, CHEV,newer MITS) and wonder, if it lists the gears in the same order, whats stopping us from just whacking one in?

There is no reason you could not make one work, just have to be able to get the cable to both move from the shifter and also move at the right points, ie from one gear position to the next in the right position etc
