Hey guys iv already got type r splits n rears in my TH - i was just wondering if its worth the money to upgrade to type x splits n rears n possibly even subs also... any help wood be appreciated

depends on the price of the type-x and what else is on the market for approx. same price. if you do upgrade,i may be intreseted in your old type-r's m8 :D.
The type-x subs are gonna be deciently powered though, 3000w peak power and 1000w rms. alpine barely has an amp to run these as well.

We've donbe a fair bit of testing on theType-X speakers now and while they're very impressive for Alpine, they're still not as good as other dedicated speaker manufacturers. :)

i have to agree with Marty
i heard the 4" splits. quite nice for a small car with someone that doens't really know much about speakers.
but for the price you might as well go and get better.

i can highly recomend converting to kicker splits and subs i have been runnin kicker subs in me last few cars and have been truely happy with them
also have recently installed kicker splits in my new magna and im very very impressed such crisp clear sound. i am a audio engineer so i am quite fusyy these are sum of teh best speakers i have ever used
