The power mirrors on my TR don't seem to be working, i think it is the fuse. i cranked the fuse box open and can't find where it is. does anyone know where it is, or what it's little code is on top of the cover

Cheers

The fuse should be in the fuse box on the right of the steering wheel,
near the boot release and bonnet release buttons. The fuse for the
mirror is the same as that for the cigarette lighter, and should be one
of the fuses on the top row. Can't remember exactly which one it is.

Anywhere else to look? I had a mirror smashed in the street which also blew the fuse. Have now replaced mirror and fuse, but still have no control... Any suggestions?

1) Dont dig up 98 year old threads
2) Check its plugged in at the switch, if its plugged in also check the plugs in the doors themselves (take trim off)

Your stuffed either way.

If you do search and use a pre existing thread, you will be told not to threadmine.
If you open a new thread, you will be told to use the search feature.

Shrug.

A high resistor join some where along the path. Check your mirror switch it might have a high resistance on one of the switch contacts :) A bad earth somewhere also might do it aswell :)
