Hi all, got a tj series 1 exec manual, just bought a tj series 2 as a donor car also manual. Now i want to do a full loom swap but i have a few questions. 1. The wrecks speedo goes to what speed i think it was crashed at everytime the batterys put in, and the tach flucttuaes alot even though the motors running smoothly. Is there a way to fix it? 2. I want to add abs, how easy is this? Also how hard is it to add the passengers airbag?

Too add ABS, you literally have to remove EVERYTHING from the TJ wreck too the TJ good. I would be a bit iffy about adding an airbag without swapping the loom from the old car anyway.
You don't want that bitch to go off when you plug it in!

I will be putting abs in my Tf soon, from what I know you will need the following : to swap all the brake lines with abs ones, 4x wheel hubs with abs ones, 4x abs wheel sensors, add abs rings onto both drive shafts from the car that has abs, add abs modulator, remove you dash and heater box and you will see an ovel kinda shape in the firewall that needs to be cut for the abs wiring loom to go through. You will need to swap all the wiring from the doner car to your car.I have put a a drivers airbag in my Tf but for the passenger side airbag the brakets need to be welded onto to dash support bar.

Thanks for that, by the way forgot to mention the donor is a tj series 2 vr-x. So all would be plug and play bar the passengers airbag tabs which will have to be welded on?

it's worth it in the end. just have to paint my kit them l will be happy.
