Which vinyl dye do you use on a beige KH Xi interior? Does anybody have a specific colour code or do I need to just match it up by eye? Cheers.

Oh whoops, my mistake. Yeah, the seats and door cards are leather, but the door trim is vinyl (I think).
VHT for vinyl
http://www.vhtpaint.com/
And waproo dye n shine for leather
http://www.waproo.com.au/
I have used both of these with excellent results. you will also need a tin of wax & grease remover to clean and prep the surfaces prior to painting/staining. the VHT is also good for recoulouring carpet (only darkening a lighter shade though). Don't forget the rubber gloves and respirator mask.
Enjoy :)

I think the seats are a combination of vinyl and leather IIRC, vinyl around the sides of the bottom I think?

All the seat material should be leather to my knowledge.
VHT Vinyl Dye works on vinyl and plastic, HOWEVER you must prep extremely well. Sand with a scotch brite pad or whatever they are, the semi scourer thingies, scrub thoroughly with wax & grease remover, use an adhesion promoter like Prepsol, then three or four light coats of the vinyl dye allowing about 10-15 minutes between the coats, then let it dry completely for generally a day or so. And even then it will still wear off in time on high wear areas, at least on plastic.

Alrighty guys, thanks for that! I'll post a picture of what I will be vinyl-dying, but what I wanted to ask is what colour of that VHT vinyl dye matches the factory one? Because I don't want to have one darker/lighter than all the others...

So what VHT vinyl dye colour matches the factory beige one? cheers.
Only the actual seating sections are leather. Everything else on the seats are vinyl.

No can of vinyl dye is going to perfectly match yours. You're just gonna have to go by eyesight or try and find someone who will mix and sell a can or two for you.
SP944 which is listed as a buckskin tan satin would probably be the closest colour. Autobarn usualy stocks VHT on the shelf and the lid corresponds to the shade of the dye. dingers is right in saying that you won't get an exact match. you'd probably have to go to a smash repairer or auto/marine upholsterer for that. Otherwise you could always purchase an entire interior door piece from a wrecker or fleabay.

I used buckskin tan on my old door cards, leather inserts and still have it on my dash it is similar but does not match. The mists colour is more orangey/ brown and the vht one is more yellow. It would be good if some one finds a matching dye so I can dye the corner my dash. Lol

Planning on dyeing my leather interior and door trims all black. I want to leave the factory black parts as they are however (dash and top part of door trims). What's the closest black to the factory black? I was planning on getting VHT Satin Black. Will this be a good match or am I just better off dyeing the entire door trims? And for the leather seats, someone mentioned only the actual sitting parts are leather, but what about the rear seats, fold-out arm rest and headrests? And if anyone has dyed their seats can you please post up some pics

I have used VHT Satin Black. It is a fair bit blacker than the dash, I doubt you'll find anything to mimic the dash in daylight as it's aged and different plastic, it's more of a lighter/bluer tinge.
I would definitely recommend Satin Black anyway though, it looks great how it is. If I remember during daylight I will take a direct side by side for you. At night they look the same.
EDIT: Sorry, should clarify, this was for doing all my plastics and vinyl. Not the leather itself.

You will need to look into a specific dye that will do leather and there is a massive amount of prep involved in leather colouring. Plenty of you tube vids on it though. It is the same process as refinishing the trim after repairing it etc.
As for the actual content, the seat facings are all hide. The sides of the front seats are vinyl for the grey/tan leather trims, and the door trims vinyl as well (just a high quality one) The seat backs are also vinyl and the headrests (except the sides) are as well. For the rear seat armrest, it is leather on the seat side but vinyl on the cupholder side.

Use Waproo dye n shine to do the leather sections. You will need grease and wax remover to clean down the leather, then use scotch brite pad & either prepsol or metho to prep the surface. It's important not to prep down to the bare leather either. the prepsol/metho creates a surface that will give the dye good adhesion.
You can also put some metho in the dye to thin it out where needed. this is handy especially when you are redying the stitching. Adding some metho also helps to take out some of the sheen.
