Hi all.

Just bought an Eclipse AVN726EA. It comes with the reverse camera (woo). I'm going to get it professionally installed but I was wondering if I'd need to supply something that will enable interface with the steering wheel controls the 380 already has. I've had a look and found this:

Is that what I need?

In relation to the reverse camera:
- When the reverse camera is installed does anyone know if it can be set up so that when you put the car in reverse it activates automatically?
- Mounting point? I was thinking of where the number plate light is maybe??

From what I've read Eclipse have made it so that only their camera works with the unit. I'll have to take a proper look when it all arrives though. I'm hoping the camera is small enough to put it in that exact place.

yes only eclipse camera works. if installed properly will automatically display camera feed when reverse selected. iirc steering wheel control needs a swi-ecl2 steering wheel control ebay (might have got the letters wrong but should be close to that), will need a bit of work to make work but not to hard apparently.

Yeah that's the kind of location ill want it. I'll mention to the stereo guy I'm going to about that module and see what he says about it.
